12 Houses of Bhavas in Astrology

In Indian Vedic astrology, the twelve houses are called Bhava and each one of these have their own meaning.

Theses 12 bhavas or houses in the horoscope are also classified into four different categories:

1. Kendra: the angular houses, that is the first (1st), fourth (4th), seventh (7th) and tenth (10th) houses.
