Everyone doesn’t seek guidance through Astrology. Everyone who get the guidance about remmedies don’t tend to perform them. Some people are subconsciously stimulated to do some remedies like doing pujas to their hereditary deity, daily puja, offering food, help to orphans, donating for holy rituals, founding trusts and community hall.

There are nine planets revolving in outer space. As they revolve, cosmic rays scattered in different directions. These cosmic rays have an impact on the souls that exist on the earth. Astrology is a treatise that reveals the kind of impact i.e. advantages and disadvantages or in other words the good and bad effects the cosmic rays produce and guide human beings in their path through life. Astrology is thus termed a divine science.

Jothi+yidam=Jothidam (Astrology)

When a bright lamp is lit upon in a room enveloped in darkness, all the secrets in the room become distinctly visible. In the same way, if the lamp of wisdom is lit up in the room of life the light will give a clear and complete picture of the secrets hidden (from human beings) in life. Based on the good and evil deeds done in the past births, the treatise namely Astrology explains and reveals the past, present and future divine secrets of life experienced by living creatures, offers explanations regarding the divine secrets of life and guides men in their path through life. Therefore, Astrology is termed as a Divine science.

Vedic Astrology is a treatise that contains the secrets of the Celestials and guides the creatures on earth in their path through life with the Almighty God who is omnipresent as the basis and with the aid of the nine planets namely Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Raghu and Kethu and their unique nature; the twenty-seven stars on whom the planets in turn exercise their power; the nature of the stars the twelve moon signs of the zodiac, their nature; calculations of periods (i.e. the time of planets revolution or round of time marked by recurrence of astronomical coincidences) which are determined by the years, months, weeks, lunar days, karnas, their nature etc the governing powers which cause the happenings of the past present and future to take place, the Vedic Astrology gives inferences, understands the events of the past, present and future through wisdom, books, the power of the intellect and offers explanation and guidance to the world. Therefore, Vedic Astrology is a treatise that explains the influence of the planets with regard to the happenings of the past, present and future and is termed as a Divine science.

The word 'Hindu ' means Moon. 'Moon ' in turn means Mother. Therefore the Hinduism is said to be the Mother of all religions. In other words, the Hindu Astrology is the Mother of all the Astrological sastras (Sciences) that exist in the world. Just as a Mother frankly and affectionately advises her child on certain details known to her about the secrets regarding the world, the Hindu Astrology offers complete advice. As a result of the deeds of the past life, (bad deeds) weeds grow amid'st the crop of life .The sastra namely-Vedic Astrology removes the weeds that hinder the proper growth of the crop (crop of life) and helps the crop of life to thrive well by its remarkable guidance.

With the blessings and mercy of the Trimurthis (Mummurthis) namely Brahma, the creator; Vishnu, the protector; and Ruthra, the destroyer (with Hinduism as the basis) who form the basis of the family comprising of Celestials (Devas), the Hindu Astrology explains the miseries and happiness in life. This Astrology also prescribes modes for atonement of sin, such as establishing a Deity, and the manner in which the Deity is to be worshipped. The Hindu Astrology is therefore a form of Vedic Astrology that gives clear and complete explanations about the Deity to be worshipped and the manner in which the Deity is to be worshipped. Since, Hindu astrology was born in India it is also called as 'Indian Astrology'.

The Nadi Astrology is a branch of Astrology that offers explanations and advice regarding the influence of the planets or the results the planets bring about to souls who seek the aid of this branch of Astrology. Every soul has two main nasal passages or nostrils. The breath through the nostrils is termed as Yidakalai and Pinkalai respectively. (Yidakalai-Sun kalai; Pingalai-Moon kalai). The breath through the left nostril is termed as 'Yidakalai' and the breath through the right nostril is termed as 'Pinkalai'. In addition to the two ways by which breath passes, there is a third way termed as 'Sulimunaikalai'. This refers to the art of breathing by which breath through the right and left nostrils pass simultaneously. Sages, Siththa's (persons who have acquired the eight great mystic powers) Sages, Yogi's (Devotees of Yoga) survive by practicing this art (Sulimunaikalai) acquire special power through spiritual knowledge about the past, present and future periods.

With sulimunai Nadi as the basis, its seven other sub-divisions (sub-divisions of sulimunai) can be practiced separately at different percentage levels. The sulimunaikalai and its sub-divisions enable Sages to understand through their spiritual power, the results the good and bad deeds yield (of the past lives) to the souls who come in search of them (Sages). Then, with the aid of the man kalai (Sulimunai) and other sub-divisions of the same kalai, which go a long way in making the Sages, attain spiritual knowledge and enable them to offer splendid explanations to the world. The results are accurately explained to the minutest detail to souls who seek the help of the Sages. The sabtha (Seven) Nadi kalai (sub-divisions of Sulimunaikalai) are Aththi, Alambudai, Gaandhari, Sangini, Singuvai, Purudan and Guru. With the secret images of the sabtha Nadigal as the basis of support, the spiritual knowledge of the good and bad deeds (of the past births) are compared with the minute secrets of the nine planets and finally clear explanations are offered to the world. Therefore this kind of astrological advice is known as Nadi Astrology.

The Astrologer whose soul bears only the good deeds of his past births (has followed the path of righteousness) and possesses a charitable and compassionate disposition will be capable of offering complete genuine predictions. Since such Astrologers are very few in number in the present world, there are difficulties in producing genuine and complete predictions through Vedic Astrology.

The original treatise of Nadi Astrology has been composed in the form of poetry. Tamil is a language with the presence of life in it. Therefore, there are vowels, (vowels in the Tamil language) called Uyir eluththukkal-letters representing life, Mey eluththukkal-letters representing body and Uyirmey eluththukkal-letters representing life and body. Apart from these letters there is a letter known as Aayutha eluththu, which makes the other, letters function. Apart from these four classes of letters there is a fifth class, which comprises of masculine and feminine letters. The fifth class is a Divine secret class known only to the celestials (Deva's).

When a man and a woman unite equally and completely, a live offspring is being created .In the same manner, the masculine and feminine letters are united in their proper proportions in the form of a poem, the predictions are arranged in an orderly way and the predictions are finally presented in the form of poetry. The predictions are being linked together by a secret rope called 'Arampaadal' and then published. Thus, nadi astrology science (sastra) occupies a supreme place among other astrology sciences (sastra's), that exist in the world and is therefore said to be the mother of all other sciences (sastra's).

Many years ago when 'The Supreme Preceptor of the Universe' - 'Sre Kagabujandar 'was teaching his disciple Sage Sre Gorakkar the various secrets of the world, Sage Sre Gorakkar said ' I beseech your grace to provide me with information about minute details regarding the state of life of the human beings'. 'Sre Kagabujandar ' agreed to give explanations on the subject. He then chanted through his sacred lips a divine song, which gave a detailed account of the people who would approach him, the age (age of the person) at which they would approach him, the persons with the specified birth details who would approach him, to get the predictions as prescribed in the treatise and also the necessary predictions he should offer to them at that time. Sage Sree Gorakkar wrote down all the the Divine secrets chanted through the sacred lips of his Preceptor (Sre Kagabujandar) on palm leaves, preserved them in his secret cupboard (earthen pot) placed in his secret abode-'Gorakkar gundam' in Kollimalai (Kolli hills). With the blessings of their Holinesses Sre Kagabujandar and Sree Gorakkar the hidden treasure (Divine secrets written on palm leaves) came to the hand of the Kaliyuga hair namely Bhaaskharamaharishi obeying the holy command of his spiritual Preceptor (Guru), the divine secrets are being explained in detail by him. Therefore, it stands to reason that the Nadi Astrology, which has been directly handed down by the Sages, is the head of all Astrological sciences.

When a man is born, his soul bears the deeds of his past births (good and bad deeds). Thus, his soul is loaded with different kinds of deeds at the time of his birth on the earth. If a soul has done only good and kind deeds in it's past births, then the soul will derive benefits or good results out of life on this earth. On the other hand, if the soul has done evil deeds in the past births, the soul will derive bad results (miseries) out of life. Therefore the soul is responsible for the miseries and happiness it experiences in this birth. Therefore the motive of an ideal soul should be to avoid doing bad deeds and do good deeds. It is said that the material world is merely an illusion, so much so that the secrets of the previous births are hidden away from him. (Man)

Therefore, a man is unable to find out the reason for the miseries and happiness he experiences in life. The soul, which understands the true secrets of his birth and leads a virtuous life, following the path of righteousness in his lifetime, will certainly derive all the benefits. The saying goes 'As you sow, so you reap'. According to that saying, we can reap a good harvest only if we have sown good deeds. The harvest depends on the quality of the seeds sown on land. According to the law of nature, with the deeds of our past births as the basis the Almighty God rules the world. 'Every action has an equal and opposite reaction' is truth. If we think of doing good deeds and put them into practice in our daily lives we can derive all the benefits out of life. Three great paths had been prescribed for Atonement of sin.

According to the first path we should find out from treatise (Nadi Astrology) the miseries in our life, and as a re-compensation for our evil deeds, we should do a direct opposite act of kindness in the place of miseries, which are present in our life. Supposing, a person remains unmarried for a long period of time, even after attaining a marriageable age, he would certainly get married very soon and experience happiness in life, if he conducts a free marriage for a poor couple and worships the Holy feet of God.

According to the second path, if a person constructs a temple, establishes a Deity and thus feeds men with thoughts of righteousness, he can remove the evil effects of his sins committed in his past births. For example, if a person remains unmarried due to Sarbathosha (snake thosha), which presents hurdles for attaining a marital status, he can construct a temple for 'Sathya Harishchandra', performing a purifying ceremony (for the temple) to remove the impact of the evil deeds of his past life on him. By adopting the remedial measures stated above he will certainly get married, and experience pleasure. The second path, which induces others to follow the path of righteousness and thereby helps them to remove the effects of their evil deeds of their past birth is said to be a very great one.

The Supreme Preceptor of the Universe - 'Sre Kagabujandar', in his text named 'shanthi ghandham' instructs a person to atone for the sins committed in his past births and reveals through it's Divine secret paths, ways to increase the number of good deeds in order to experience great changes in his life. Therefore, if a person pays heed to the golden words of the Guru and abides by the ways prescribed by the Shanthi ghandham, he is sure to experience great changes in his life and he will possess thoughts of righteousness which in turn would prevent him from doing evil deeds in future.

According to the third path the evil effects of sins (of the past births) can be reduced by degrees through sincere utterance of the sacred original mantrasto God and by allowing thoughts of righteousness to grow in us people with false faith who pretend to have devotion to God will derive bad results instead of good results if they follow this path. Therefore, The Supreme Preceptor of the Universe - 'Sre Kagabujandar' in his advice to Sre Gorakkar instructs Sre Gorakkar that if the three paths are followed in the prescribed manner, souls will derive benefits in life.

By adopting the remedial measures certain soul get the desired effect within a few days, whereas it takes months or even years for other souls to get the desired effect. The power of the evil deed done in the past the sense of adoration for the remedy, and the kind of life one leads after the performance of the remedy (parikara) are the factors that determine the span of time taken for the desired effect to come to them. Only those who are destined to follow and perform the prescribed remedial measures with the guidance of the Guru can derive benefits. Others, who do not have the determination to do them, will neither come to understand the sins of the past births nor will they be able to remove the impact of by adapting remedial measures. Remedial measures adopted with the guidance of the Preceptor (Guru) through Preceptor (Guru) himself in the prescribed manner will certainly bring about benefits in life.

Theetchai means spiritual advice. Spiritual advice is of two kinds:

The first kind of advice speaks about the evil effects of sins of the past births on aman, attainment of complete wisdom and the path to be followed for attaining salvation by which one can free him from rebirths. This kind of advice is to be given in Gnana ghandham.

The second stage of spiritual advice helps a man to overcome the troubles caused by his enemies with the help of it's powerful mantras and gives an account of the magic mantras which enable a man to lead a life of happiness and prosperity. This second stage, which has been prescribed by the preceptor, (Guru) contains remedies called 'deetchai remedies'.

The second stage speaks about the methods, which help to lessen the impact (effect) of the cosmic rays of the planets on Man's life through divine power.

The path prescribes norms like-the Deity to be worshipped, the mantras to be uttered while worshipping a Deity; the prescribed manner by which the Deity is to be worshipped, the types of amulets to be worn by a person in order to store the power of the prescribed mantras; the person by the power of the mantrasis to be stored; the metal out of which the amulets are to be made; the size of the amulets; the time or period when the amulets are to be worn; the accurate laws or rules that determine the words to be written in the amulets for storing magic powers; the part of the body where it should be worn. The second path says that the souls, which adopt Theetchai remedies, should get the blessings of the Preceptor (Guru) and God to bring desired effect on them (souls). The method mentioned above pave the way to lessen the miseries in life through the guidance and blessings offered and the Guru are called Theetchai remedies (parikara's). Theetchai remedies are temporary divine paths, which control misery.

The letters in the Tamil language begin with the letter A ('A' in English language) as the basis and function. Similarly the world functions with the help of Lord Aathisiva, who is considered as the Almighty. With Aathisiva as the Prime Minister, Brahma, the creator; Ruthra, the destroyer;(a form of Siva) and Vishnu, the protector who are termed as 'Trimurthi's (mummurthi's) occupy important posts for discharging their duties to assist the Almighty in governing the world. Under the Trimurthi's, come the large family of the Celestials (Deva's), who in turn exercise their control over the earth. The Almighty God who is called the 'Paramathmaa' (originate great soul) has created many 'Jeevathmaa's' as various forms of Himself. He created many differences among them and at the same time, he created a sense of unity among them and keeps governing the world since ages. In the same manner, the Almighty God created Celestials (Deva's) with differences and similarities among them brought them together with a spirit of unity among them, makes them participate in the act of governing the world, which has crossed many Yuga's and Karpa periods. The birth of the world, which dates back to so many millions of years, has obtained the principles of religious sciences (sastra's). Thus by sincere penance and by following the path of righteousness in one's life and with the blessings of the Guru mentioned in the religious scriptures. The principles regarding religious sciences (Sastra's) are the principles governing the construction of temples, rules regarding the establishment of Deities in the form of statues, the manner in which the Deity is to be worshipped, the results produced through worship. Therefore the Athisiva Celestial (Deva) family is an extremely big one.

Since the world has passed through many ages, we find changes in the life style of man in the present day. So changes are brought about in the methods concerning Aagamasastra (Science of temple architecture). Very few religious sastra's (Sciences) or principles regarding the construction of statues, rules laid down for the construction of idols in a temple, forms of worship and their results and their results are kept alive in the present world. According to the law of God Almighty, anything that exists on the earth does not perish. Going by the general law of nature, different kinds of religious sastras (Sciences), live ever today only in the form of spiritual education and remain in the minds of great souls and do not vanish. Though different kinds of spiritual knowledge is imparted to the human souls or human-beings by way of dreams, spiritual books (treatises) and experiences in life the evils of the past births prevent the sources of spiritual wisdom from reaching man kind. Thus many millions of secrets are stacked and hidden away from mankind. One can get the desired effects con condition that if the deeds of the past perve way for it.

The Supreme Preceptor of the Universe - 'Sre Kagabujandar' along with his consort 'Sre Baguladevi' stand as the supreme Preceptor (supreme divine teacher) of the Preceptor's (divine teachers) who govern the universe. He is a Karpaga tree. He lives forever. Therefore he has given instructions on one thousand and eight types of architecture involved in the construction of Siva, Brahma and Vishnu temples. That wish to construct temples should approach the Maharishi and receive explanations on the science of Divine Architecture (for construction of temples) to construct temples and worship God. Therefore if a person gets the required explanations (on the science of architecture) through the treatise (Nadi readings) and constructs a temple based on the prescribed principles mentioned in the text, and worship God, pleasures will grow in the form of a Karpagavirutcha tree. This is great truth.

The Rishis of Ancient India Applied their minds and discovered many arts and sciences for the well-being of future generations of mankind. One such science is Astrology. There are several branches in Astrology vizHoroscopy., i.e. casting and reading horoscopes based on the Positionsof planets at the time of birth of a Person and the movements of the Planets across the Zodiac. This is a well developed science as evidenced from ancient manuscripts like Brihatsamhita, JathakaPaarijatha etc. Palmistry, Numerology and Naadi reading are the other disciplines. Experiences our family has so far and feed back from our clientele makes us to learn that the predictions being expounded through the records of palm leaves we preserve, aptly suits to the natives only 80 percent that is too only to 80 percent of the total visitors. The remedies being prescribed here in the holy script including the temple poojas are left to the sheer choice of the individuals concerned.

These days we hear about people with Powers of extra sensory preceptions. The Rishis were holy sages, who occupied themselves in concentrating on the one divine being – paramatma. They far exceeded the power of ESP people. More than that they were able to know the future by their fore-sight.

With this foresight, the Rishis like Agasthiya, Kousika, Vasishta have given predictions for the human being occupying this world. Let us take for instance any particular moment of the Day. Many lives are born in this world at that given moment, human lives, plant life and animals. The Rishis have ignored the last two and confined their predictions only to human beings. And that too not for all the humans. Predictions are given only for such of those presons who the Rishis out of their foreknowledge knew will come forward to study these Predictions. The exact age in which each such person will come for this study have also been foretold by Rishis. These predictions were inscribed on palmleaves. Like many other arts and sciences of ancient days they were also in Sanskrit. Later days, the Tamil kings gathered all such palm leaves irrespective of the subjects, they dealt upon and stored them in big libraries. These leaves which are the repository of the Wisdom of ancient Rishis woud otherwise have been lost to us. The king of Tanjore, a true patron of Arts and Sciences, found a reserve for these plam leaves in his palace library. He also got them translated in to ancient Tamil with the help of Pandits. The palm leaves kept by us are those which we got from our ancestors. We have not professed at any time that these are the original palm leaves Purported to be written by the rishis and obtained by us in the days of British rule in the auction.

Before revealing the predictions, each person is first identified by furnishing his date of birth details, planetary positions as at the time of his / her birth, parentage, names of some close relatives, position in life. marital status etc. After this, the predictions for the individual follow from the date of his studying the Nadi to his last day. The past, i.e. the happenings from date of birth to date of studying the leaf is not covered.
This is probably in order to avoid any complications arising in human lives.

When a thumb impression from a native is obtained it is handed over by the reader at the library. The palm-leaf bundles are classified & indexed in the library according to thumb impression to facilitate easy searching of the bundles. For each thumb impression there are likely to be around 5 to 6 bundles; each such bundle will contain between 50 to 100 leaves. The leaf of one particular individual may be found out in the first bundle or in any
other bundle among the six. some times it may not be found out, as the predictions from this holy script is confined to some limited souls. Hence, the process of finding out this specific leaf is laborious and time consuming. Because the reader has to read out one statement from the first leaf and if it is confirmed by the native, he will read out the second statement to verify its veracity. If this statement does not hold true for the
native the reader will have to go on searching leaf after leaf, bundle after bundle to trace out the one leaf in which all the particulars concerning the Native correctly appear., To expedite this process the Native has to extend his full co-operation i.e., he should listen to the reading carefully and answer correctly.

This results in the tracing out of not only the leaf but also the first Kaandam also called General Kaandam representing the native’s lagna. The General Kaandam will also furnish brief predictions of the remaining 12 houses of the Native’s birth chart, If detailed predictions of any other house are required, they can be studied in the relevant Kaandam given in the Annexure. For acquiring the good results, as extended by this
holy script, the Rishis insist that the Native should be free from the evil influence of all their previous birth sins. Therefore, the rishis suggest and specifies the performance of certain parihaaras (remedies). If these Remedies are performed with full involvement, the Rishi assures the happening of the events predicted by him. These are found in separate chapters called Shanthi&Deeksha(No 13 & 14).

This office is established for the past 80 years and is rendering service for three generations. Of late,ie., within two years many people have started Nadi offices in Vaithiswarankoil. We have no comments about the mushrooming of this sacred profession. But we wish to warn our consultees that we do not have any branch offices any where in India. Many important persons have visited us (some of them more than once). They have been impressed when the forecasts given by this office happened in their lives.

As explained already, we are giving predictions as per the SukshmaNaadi, since our father’s time i.e. roughly for the past fifty years. The predictions start with a dialogue between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, who requests Lord Shiva to tell the predictions of her son/daughter,who has come forward to know his/her future. Lord Shiva then gives the predictions. The Maha Siva SukshmaNaadi is more exhaustive and accurate in predicting events as compared to Kousika and AgasthiyaNaadi’s followed by our family earlier or other NaadiJodhidam followed by others in the south. That is the reason why, the charge for this SukshmaNaadi is somewhat higher. But when we compare the immense what we derive from Naadi, the charge is very cheap.

As in Astrology, there are twelve Kaandams, dealing with the twelve Bhavas or houses. There are also special Kaandams, dealing with ShanthiPariharam, DeekshaKaandam, VaidyaKandam, DasabhukthiKaandams, brief description of subjects dealt in each Kaandam are all given in the Appendix, which may please the referred one. In the succeeding chapters, we have also explained in details some of the important Kandams. However, the first Kaandam is compulsory. It is considered to be the index for all the other Kaandams. The consultation of all the Kaandams and special Kaandams are optional. But other Kaandamscan not be independently consulted, without reading the first chapter.

Another important feature of the SukshmaNaadi is, that the prediction itself, tells when the customer will come to us for consultation.Usually it is indicated that the person seeking to know his future would come when Saturn and Jupiter are situated in particular Rasis.Presently, the Naadi leaves indicate Guru (Planet Jupiter) is in Cancer (Leo) and Sani (Planet Saturn) is in Taurus (Gemini) Rasi. When Jupiter and Saturn transit to next Rasi, the present palm leaves are going to be left in the Holy river Cauvery as directed by our own Naadi,i.e. SanthanaNool.

It is pertinent to remember in this connection that unlike Natal Astrology , the predictions are told in the SukshmaNaadi Astrology, only from the date the native gets the leaves to the end of his/her life and past predictions are not given. The past predictions given are in respect of certain facts about the family of the person, which are considered as Sakshimore witness to confirm that the leaves pertaining to the person
coming to know about his future. Because of this fact only we are not giving any advertisement about our centres at Vaithiswarankoil or Gurgaon.Whoever has come of his own accord , having heard about us, through their friends or relatives. It will be an astonishing experience, for some to hear the predictions in many cases, pin pointing with whom they have come for consultation and what is his name. In one case,a lady had come along with another person, with whom, she was living for long without any formal marriage. This facet , when predicted in the leaf ,
she confirmed it. The predictions, of course, recommended continuance of that relationship, saying it is beneficial to her.

This website advertisement and booklet is however made for the first time, only to take advantage of the latest advancements made in the computer and in Information Technology and to record for the sake of posterity, the history, background, and nature of predictions, our family is giving for the last 150 years or more. We also want to record in writing, what we have heard so far, by hear say or Karma Parampara, from our ancestors.

Nadi Astrology Remedies New

Another noteworthy point with regards to the SukshmaNaadi is, that even in cases where the leaves are traced, the predictions were not told immediately. There were two such cases in the history Gurgaon centre itself. In one case, a Mumbai based person’s future was sought. He was bedridden with paralytic attack. His relatives were told to come again after 6 months. But within 6 months, the person concerned died. In another case, the person was asked to
perform certain remedial measures, which were also suggested and come after doing those Pariharams only to know about his future.

One other prediction given in the case of some political leaders had a hearing on the General Elections. Just before the parliamentary election held in 1998, prediction given in individual cases referred to the general elections, likely to take place when Saturn transited to a particular Nakshatra which happened around in February, March 1998.When people were discussing when the elections will be held, whether in March 1998 or November 1998,
Naadi predicted it in March 1998 which proved correct. This too came in the general Kaandam prediction of some individuals. This shows how much foresight our rishis had, over events likely to take place thousands of years later.

Interestingly , the SukshmaNaadi contains predictions for all persons belonging to various religions, communities and regions of India and abroad. The persons who had come to the Gurgaon centre consist of Hindus, Sikhs, Muslims and Christians from all corners of India. The Naadi coming from Tamilnadu tells the names of customers from north and other religious person’s name, which are not generally understood in south. The Pariharams suggested to customers of other religious faiths, include the remedies to be performed as per there customs as well as to the Hindu gods and Navagraha planets. Similarly remedial measures suggested to the Hindus include pilgrimage to Velankanni Mary Temple, a Christian Church and the NagoreDargah, a Muslim holy place within Tamilnadu and Gurudwaras. Thus religious tolerance and fraternity is also preached.

Nadi Astrology Remedies

It would be interesting to note that the Naadi predictions could cover such events like natural calamities. A customer from Japan Mr. Minamida Mitsuyazu (a photo of the customer with Naadi astrologer is given in the appendix) consulted his Naadi sometime in 1995.There was a prediction that his house and area would be affected by an Earthquake. He confirmed to us after he returned to his countryabout the actual happening of the Earthquake. Even though his house was affected, he was unhurt.

The predictions of the Naadi are all in Tamil Language in poetic form and using code words for astrological and other terms. These are not commonly understood by educated Tamilians. These are deciphered by the Asans, Readers who are trained in Our Head Office, for 7 to 10 years in reading in palm leaves and interpreting it, in simple spoken language in Tamil. In the case of those who do not know Tamil, these are translated into Hindi or English.

More than understanding the meaning of the poetic form , the Asans have to interpret the predictions correlating to many changes that have taken
place in modern times. In olden days the educational and professional fields were limited. But nowadays, there are hundreds of specialized fields. So interpreting the old Tamil words to modern vocation, needs great skill and experience. This difficulty is there in Natal Astrological predictions as well and lots of researches are going on to interpret it correctly, correlating to modern needs. We are also trying in our own way, to give the nearest possible interpretation for the old words with the vast practical knowledge gained by us while giving predictions, the customers also have to take into account a realistic view of things predicted. By taking into account his educational qualification, social status, financial status, levels, up to which he can aspire to climb reasonably etc. There may be some exceptions where an ordinary person may rise upto the phenomenal level which can not be imagined. These exceptional cases will however be explained adequately in the Naadi prediction itself. To understand the difficulty in the interpretation of words, we have given below some concrete cases we came across in the Gurgaon centre itself.

As regards education, the words, commonly used are – He will be well qualified in the AthiNaveena meaning highly modernized type of education, and Sukshmasubjects, that is minute/intricate subjects. These are generally taken by us as Engineering Education especially computer related. The word Naveena may mean differently at different times. Some 30 years ago, it may be Civil or Electronics Engineering.

Later it may be Chemical or Electronics. Now, it may refer to computer and Information Technology.
Tomorrow it may be space and satellite related subjects. Similarly Sukshma Subjects may mean specialization
in any subject like Ph.D., or Doctorate especially in Science subjects. One has only to take the clue that
the customer is fit to take up higher specialized study. The predictions also refer to research studies,
there may be breaches. These are to be decided one by one, taking into account his academic qualification and
aptitude for higher studies. In the case of one Income Tax Commissioner, his profession was indicated as one of collecting revenue of the Government, viz. ThandalMargam. These are different types of Revenue Department like Income Tax , Sales Tax , Customs and other revenues. The exact profession can only be surmised by the customer. Similarly the customers employed in Bank are stated to be working in a place where money is given and taken. There so many departments dealing with money like R.B.I., Banks, Insurance Companies, Non Banking companies etc.

We can only take a conclusion, that it is good for the customer to be employed in Banking Business. Similarly in the case of Business Profession, whether they are employed in trade or in the manufacturing field and if so in what type of production they are dealing with are said. The Business field is so vast. There also one has to infer the correct vocation, from the general prediction given.

In the political field, predictions are given, whether they will have public relations with power and authority or not. References come that
the customer will be elected to KizhSabhapor (lower house) or Mel Sabhapor (upper house). We know that these houses are in the state assemblies
and Parliament. Such prediction can best be understood by the customer, taking into account his political status, his influence in State or Central
level, is financial as well as popular capacity or nominate his candidature stand for Assembly or Central level elections. In one case, the President of a National Party at State Level, got the predictions some time in January to March in 1998 that he would get the Agrasana Position with immense power, honour and influence. The word Agrasana means Chief or Supreme Head. We including the customer also remember the Mahabharata Story of BhishmaPithamaha proposing Lord Krishna, name for the Agrasana post for the Raja SuyaYaga. So, we presumed that he may get the Chief Minister’s post, even though all of us including our respected customer, knew very well, that there is no possibility of his becoming the Chief Minister, as his party had completely been decimated in the previous elections. In the subsequent elections held in February 2000, his party got just 22 seats and customer was also disheartened. Within a month of the election, there was a coalition Govt. and all MLAs, became Ministers and our customer became the speaker of the Legislative assembly and all of us know, the powers and influence of speakers, in coalition era, capable of appointing and dismissing ministries. So, the predicted word Agrasana was meant to be a speaker. In retrospect, we realized, we missed to discern the subtle difference between the Executive
head and Honorary head. This recent concrete case will explain how agile one has to be, in interpreting the words, so wisely used by the old Rishis in the SukshmaNaadi predictions. In this case, we know the correct dictionary meaning as given in the Authentic Madras University dictionary and the precedence in the Mahabharata Story, yet the predictions went a little astray in our interpretation only. We therefore appeal to our customers again,
to take the realistic view of the predictions, taking their capacities, influence and their positions standing in the party, state of the party at the time of predictions etc.

In another case of a prediction to a High Court Judge, we had interpreted, that he would retire at the age of 63 and he was taken aback, as it meant retirement 2 years earlier. The words appearing in to the Naadi could be interpreted to mean 63 years of age or 65 years of age, viz.Aruban Eir Moon is 60 + 2 + 3 or 63. When the Honorable Justice pointed out that the age of retirement of Justice was 65, we stood corrected
and he was kind enough to appreciate our laminations. In fact, we were not aware that the age of superannuation varies from 55 to 65 at present.

But the sages, through their foresight, correctly forecast what is going to happen many years later. With the above types of experience,we are also trying our best to interpret the predictions as nearly as possible to the present day situations.

When a Jathaka or the customer wants to consult the Naadi, he has to contact the centre over phone or in person or by Post and get a date confirmed. One day before the appointed date he has to reconfirm his arrival or position or the date will be cancelled at present the waiting list is extending upto 3 months and so if the customer is unable to come for any reason, the date can be provided to the other waiting customers. At the time of getting
the date, and upto the time of reading the Naadi, the name of the person consulted need not be given as his name will be told in the prediction itself, he can give some other friends or relatives name or some code names, which are to be remembered while coming for consultation.

On the appointment date, the right hand or left hand thumb impression, if the person is a male or female respectively is to be given at the center. With the help this thumb impression, the bundles containing the particulars set or thumb impression to which, his impression belongs will be traced.
In each bundle, there may be predictions relating to hundreds of persons. Sometimes a particular palm leaf may contain predictions relating to more than one customer. In some very rare cases, one leaf or a set of leaves may contain exclusively, predictions relating to one person only. In such cases of single person predictions, we generally give the original palm leaves to the concerned Jathaka. In other cases we do not give the original leaves to the customers. These are destroyed by joining the leaves to the river Cauvery, as already explained at periodic intervals.

We however record the original Tamil predictions as given in the Naadi, in a note book and give to the customers. Then it will be transferred to other language as they wish. During the last 2 years, there were only 2 cases of single leaf predictions, one in the case of a senior IAS Officer in 1998 and the other recently in May 2000 to a senior politician, the All India General Secretary of a major ruling party. The original palm leaves were given tothem. Similarly, the Japanese customer who consulted us in 1995 (vide page 7) got a separate leaf (see also the photo in the appendix holding the leafin his hands).

The selection of the particular leaf relating to a person is a time consuming process and it may take 2 to 3 hours sometime and at other times, the customers would be lucky to get it within a reference to 5 or 6 leaves. Every leaf pertaining to a person would contain facts about that person viz. , his and his wife’s name, his parents names, number of brothers and sisters, the order of his birth in the family, whether he is the son of the first or second wife, in case if his father had got married twice and such other definite facts. These are called Sakshis or witnesses. The customer should confirm or deny the facts, when it is being read from the leaves. But he should not tell the fact well in advance. If the particulars given in a particular do not agree entirely, the next leaf is taken and the process continues till the correct leaf containing the factual predictions completely, matches with his family particulars.

In many cases, the persons do not get their leaf. It means that the time to know their future hasn’t come. Periodically we bring new bundles from our Head Office, therefore those who did not get their Naadi in earlier attempts, may get subsequently. However we do not charge any fees in cases when the customer does not find his/her leaf, despite much time we spend to trace out. When once leaves are traced, we record the original Tamil prediction, as it is, in the Note Book. As already explained, these predictions are in poetic Tamil with code words for astrological terms. These are read and deciphered by well trainedAsans who then explain the predictions in spoken Tamil. These are then translated into Hindi or English and get recorded in Tapes and given to customers, along with the Notebook containing the original Predictions.

As already explained, the SukshmaNaadi predictions are available for all the twelve Bhavas or houses. The chapter 1 containing the general Kaandam is
compulsorily to be referred to, as it is considered as the index and contains exhaustive and precise predictions, commencing from the time the customer’s leaf is traced to the end of his life. This general Kanda only identifies the correct leaf pertaining to the customer as already explained in the VIth chapter. Then the planetary positions of the 9 planets are explained, from which the details of the horoscope is cast and recorded in the Notebook, where the original predictions are recorded. This horoscope tallies exactly with the natal horoscope available with the customer. However, the horoscope coming in the Naadi does not indicate the Lagna position and balance of Dasa and Bhukthi period available. In rare cases the lagna is also indicated. For further details, please refer to DasaBhukthi chapter. Then the present Gochara position of planets are discussed and if there are any serious doshams or the sins committed in previous birth is serious, preference to Shanthi and Deeksha, Kaandam are suggested. This will be experienced in the next chapter. Thereafter the predictions are given, from the time leaf is traced to the end of his life covering all the twelve bhava affect i.e. education , profession, marriage, health, children, profit and loss in profession, service, death etc.

These predictions are split up into many periods of his age (in Natal Astrology it is DasaBhukthi wise) usually to three years time at a stretch are events that will take place would be examined in details.

(chapter 13 and 14) In the Naadi Astrology, due importance is given to performing Pariharas or remedial measures to atone our Doshas or sins. The Pariharas are generally suggested in the following 3 types of cases.

(i) To atone for sins committed by us in our past births. According to the Karma theory of the Hindus, the good or bad deeds done by us in the past birth are continuing in the present life also, because of which we experience good or bad effect in the present birth. If the sins committed by us are serious ones, we have to sincerely regret for the same and do certain Pariharas. Unless we do this, we have to suffer extreme hardship. It is true that one cannot escape from the bad effects and has to undergo the sufferings for our bad deed in past or present life. But by doing the Pariharas, we can gain some relief from our problems, as we protect ourselves from the hot sun and torrential by using an umbrella. The Pariharams are like umbrellas. It does not prevent sufferings but it reduces the severity and density of sufferings and problems. The Naadi sincerely believes and assures us, performance of suggested Pariharas definitely protects one from the aftermath of sins of past life or the temporary bad effects caused by Gochara effects of planetary movements, in the present life.It is a question of fate vs. freewill. Our ancestors believed, that one can overcome fate by freewill or Buddhi by devotion to god, cultivating virtues,
removing on and doing bad and good things. The sage Markandeya was destined to be died at the age of 18. But by his extreme devotion to God Shiva and Purity in his thoughts he escaped from death, because of the boon given by Lord Shiva, that he would ever remain 18 years of age and so there is no question of his death.
The Pariharams are only the training grounds for us to cultivate our minds towards devotion to God, generating love, compassion good and to be good to oneself and others. The SukshmaNaadi prescribes such Pariharams, like pilgrimages to Holy temples of God and NavagrahaNayakas, offer Puja and Abhishekam, offer food and clothes to poor and handicapped persons, offer food to birds like crows, plant certain types of shade giving trees in
public places and roads to enable passers by to get shade, thus protecting them from the hot sun etc. When once the person sincerely regrets for his sins committed in the past or present life and vows, by doing these Pariharams, not to commit such sins in the present life and tries to be God fearing
and leading a good life full of virtues, live for selfless service, giving help to fellow human beings, we can be sure that he would be the most loved and happiest person. No body should ever dream of doing harm to others. We would appeal to our customers, that they should understand the real meaning of the Pariharams as explained above, when they are actually performing the suggested Pariharas. They should never do it in a ritualistic or methodic way and again continue life, committing the same mistakes because of which they are suffering now.

(ii) The second reason for our suffering as identified by the SukshmaNaadi, is caused by the Gochara effects or the temporary transits of planets like 7 and half years Saturn period, other planets transiting bad houses etc.
The Pariharams suggested in these are also similar to the ones suggested for the first cause as explained in the previous para.

(iii) The third reason for our sufferings identified by the SukshmaNaadi is by enemies and jealous persons, evil eyes, envy or conspiracy of others viz.
pilli, sunyam etc. To protect one from the deliberative doings of others envious of us, the Naadi prescribes doing certain ManthraJapas for a specified

period (one Mandalam, two Mandalam etc. Mandalam means 48 days) to the copper plate dedicated to Vedic Gods like Shiva, Vishnu, Karthikeya, Lakshmi,Durga etc. and wearing such Talismans duly chanted to Gods, in the body or doing Pujas in the house. The Naadi will describe what ManthraJapa is to be done in favour of which deity and what to do with ManthraJapachanted copper plate. It is significant to note in this connection, that the SukshmaNaadi never suggests, any retaliatory evil ManthraJapas to well known Vedic Gods and wearing or doing Pujas to the Manthra chanted copper plates or Talisman only to protect oneself from the evil effects of the evil doers. These Pariharas are to be done only by those who are asked to do it in general chapter predictions. Others need not do any remedy. Some persons are asked to do remedial measures as suggested in ShanthiKandam Chapter 13 while some others are asked to refer both Shanthi and DeekshaKandam Chapter 13 and 14 depending upon the severity of the Doshas or defects. Furthermore, the Shanthi Kanda Pariharams are all to be done by the customer himself personally. The Deeksha Kanda Pariharams can also be done by the customer through the Vedic Pundits well versed in these Manthra Pujas. In such cases, we undertake to do such Manthra Pujas through our Head Office at Vaithiswarankoil,on payment of actual expenses.

These predictions can be had at the option of the customer on payment of the prescribed charges to know more detailed information about the predictions
